If you haven’t finished the drama yet, don’t read this cause there will be spoilers.
I wasn’t really satisfied with how some things ended. Obviously things were going to end on a happy note for the main couple. But for everything else, the only thing that really made sense to me was Won’s sacrifice. He gave up being with the woman he loved in order to save the company, keep it from going into the evil stepmothers hands, and make everyone happy.
Young Do’s father goes to jail, he finds his mother, he kinda made up with Tan but not yet? And then what? All this happened and then? I felt bad when Young Do apologized to that boy he bullied and the boy said he would never forgive him. But after all that bullying, it’s understandable why he wouldn’t figure Young Do. I think that’s the kind of thing only time can help heal, if it heals at all. I felt it was kinda over dramatic when he told Eun Sang not to say hi to him or look at him after he “dumps her” He’s hurt yes, but I felt like that was kinda dramatic. It would have been nice if they could have been friends.
I would have liked to see more development in Eun Sang and Bo Na’s friendship, but it was already pretty obvious how things would turn out. Though Bo Na still being all jealous over Eun Sang and Chan Young’s interactions were still annoying.
The friendship that came out of Eun Sang’s mother and Tan’s mother was adorable. I think it would have been cute to see Tan’s mother learning some sign language. I loved the scene where they got drunk together >.<
Tan’s dad. Ugh. They had to go the near death experience rout. Can’t these rich people learn anything (if he even did learn anything) without some kind of near death experience?
Yoo Rachel. It would have been nice to see this girl show more emotion. Seeing her learn to be something other than cold and defensive would have been great on her character. I thought it was cute that her and her mother were going to go on a ‘single women’ vacation.
I was hoping for more with the Yoo Rachel/ Lee Hyo Shin relationship. It was totally going somewhere. But you know she’s gonna wait for him to get out of the military.
And here is my biggest issue. How random is it that Lee Hyo Shin decides to go off to the military? He says it’s to “teach his parents” but the thing is, he tried to kill himself. He tried to kill himself and that didn’t to shit to knock some sense into his parents. Seriously. This boy tried to take his own life and his parents refused to talk about it or acknowledge it. How is joining the military going to change anything?
A lot of things just felt incomplete in the end. But all that aside, I did enjoy this drama, and I was really please with the amazing cast.
